Start with the essential DVC components: The Design and Player. Design your slides by adding text and images. Save your project and open it the DVC Player and push your content automatically out to your Cable Company’s feed. The Designer allows for even the novice to create stunning slides in minutes.
With the optional Weather plug-in, you can build and display the current weather forecasts and warnings automatically into your project! Keep your community informed on an hour-by-hour basis of the latest weather conditions fed directly from the National Weather Service and other feeds.
Add a Switch and the DVCorder DVR

- The DVR can optionally record your Live Broadcast.
Now you can Broadcast your important community meetings directly to your Cable Company with the DVC Switch component. In this configuration you may automatically switch from your PSI slides to your live video feed.
Add in the DVCorder DVR module and now you can digitally record your meetings simultaneously as you Broadcast them. Optionally, you may record a meeting without having to Broadcast it publically. Great for internal video communication!
Switching software requires a seperate physical switch from Extron or similar supplier.

The Scheduler talks directly the DVC Switch module to automatically switch from your PSI slides to your video content. Operate a Broadcast channel 24/7 with no one needed to turn on or off videos or control the Switch.

You may now broadcast world-wide via the Web with the DVC-Encoder and DVC-Streamer! Now your residents who are not on the cable system (antenna or satellite tv) may tune into your content 24/7 via the internet! Powered by Microsoft’s Silverlight application (a free player much like Flash or Quicktime) our Encoder prepares your video stream for the web and then the Streamer component sends it out for the world to view!
The final step is the DVC-Feed which allows remote location feeds directly into DVC-Live using only a laptop and local network connection.
